thank you for all your color help, but i have finally decided,
out with the tan and gold!

since packaging up the comforter set and shipping it back...
i bought a new one locally w/ coupon, of course!
have been to home depot 3 times
painted the room
got some awesome lamps

things are finally starting to shape up.

now if i just had that much motivation to do the laundry.
takers? anyone?
