Naked

After the last wind storm we lost one of the big trees in our front yard. It was ugly, but still a tree. I casually mentioned our (rotting)split rail fence to the tree guy. For $25 they would chip it up for us. I couldn't pass it up.

Hard to feel sorry for.....

Long walks, lots of frisbee, clean beds and bath day.

Our last week!

Last thurs I had my shoulder surgery. It went as expected--- which is great! I'm still recovering (and expect to be for a couple more week here). Movements like out and up (ESP with weight) are out of the question. Ponytails are impossible. Dallas has been my personal hair stylist for the past week. However, I'm getting better every day and can't wait to get back to running (and biking) eventually. My surgery was a Mumford (shave off the distal end of the clavicle) and subacromial decompression (shaving off part of the acromium of part of the scapula).

We have been ultra boring otherwise. Dallas continues to play with his camera every spare minute. I find myself between watching bb and working on my art project which I'm trying to get done and framed before an upcoming show. Its going slower than I thought but, that could be due to my perfection problem. Most of the picture in doing with tweezers. Ive almost convinced myself that i have a mental disorder for doing this. There is a sneak peak shown here!

I'm also checking the kitty shelter weekly for a new kitten. The dogs are boring and I miss little William wandering around, even though he was annoying and shed all over.

oh boy

its been such a long time since i blogged, im so sorry.  things i hear happen in 3s....so i hope to be done for a while.
1.  just when i thought things were going well i started getting this nasty little rash....a lot of details spared it boils down to an undiagnosed case of gluten intolerance.  i've had to be "good" for the past 3 weeks (ie no girl scout cookies) and back to normal.  unfortunately i think gluten is outta my life forever

2.  just when i get done diagnosing my rash, my boss goes to vegas, gets the worst cold imaginable and shares with me.  fever, chills, it was a long weekend.  fortunately he got the green snot before me and put me on antibiotics right away.  5 days later i'm finally feeling better

3.  yesterday was my shoulder surgery.  i almost got cold feet and backed out (i've been avoiding it for 5.5 years now).  my surgeon did a mumford and a sad..... it was outpatient, and went well.  now i'm stuck in a sling only for a week.....and 2012 is looking up again!

dallas enjoys his camera.....a lot.  it's the first thing he does when he gets home---play with the camera. 

i promise to be better w/ the blog---i'm sorry!  but having health issues for the past few weeks hasn't helped a whole lot.  here is one of dallas' pics labeled "super ez!"
