Off you go!

Today at rock climbing I had to face my worst fear. I read it on the syllabus but was hoping for horrible weather to avoid: rappelling. It went like this: get in line. Get a harness. Tie your 8. Put your rope thru, put one leg over, hop all the way over, rappel down 3 stories. It went that fast.

Phew. So glad that one is over.

dodgeball

for the past 6 weeks we've been on a dodgeball league thru our church.
every tuesday night we throw our shoulders out and pull hamstrings.
our team was horrible. we won 3/21. not the best record but it was a
lot of fun. last night we had playoffs and are done until next year.

sad. i suppose tuesday evenings are free if anyone wants to do something.

We are just about ready to pull the trigger on a kitchen remodel. I realize that many of you think our current kitchen is awesome and would hate to see it go, but, Ezra is insisting. If we are going to do this, we are going to go all out. As in, the walls come out. Dallas has currently been sketching our house up to see what it might look like. This is only a stage. I'm having a hard time deciding exactly what I want.

Today ez and I went hiking w some our favorite friends. He already went to bed.

What? No Elsie bear?! Oh yes. She went to find a new home. It's so peaceful coming home to a house that's not destroyed.

I'm in the process of redoing rooms at out house. Everything got piled onto the futon. Just before I shut the door I noticed fritz buried in the clutter. Very glad I found him before shutting the door. We didnt need another thanksgiving episode here

Rock climbing

We have a lot of big mtns to do so I decided to take a rock climbing course thru the comm college. I thought this might be good since I'm petrified of heights. Today we got to do 2 climbs. The first went rather well considering I had no chalk and was sweating bullets. For the 2nd climb our instructor made us do it blindfolded. Scary at first but so much easier. If my arms wernt fatigued I would have gone again!
