Yesterday we were planning on hiking antero (an incredibly long and boring 14er). After doing one last weather check at 4am as we were pulling out of the drive, the chance for storms was higher than the night before and if we wernt going to summit, we wernt going to go. Instead we found a great new trail closer to home and tested beanie's off leash hiking skills. This was her first 5mi hike and proves she will be able to tackle another mtn we have on tap for this year.
