sorry folks!  we've got some movement over here and holy smokes it's busy!

the past couple days i've spent at my old job, training my replacement.  it took a whole 5 min to ask myself why i stayed so long.  one of the MDs asked if i was missing it.  

no.

while i feel many people at work look down on me quitting and starting my own thing, i'm learning 100x more than i was there.  it's so great to think and be creative every day!  

every day i am either thinking about chocolate or i'm covered in it!

marketing

i just got a big order from CA (YEAH!!!!), and although we wern't projected to start sales until Sept 1, this has definitely kicked things into high gear.  so many different things to consider-- retail sales tax, shipping in 100 degree temps, etc.  

go chocolates!

While staying at my sisters house I'm doing a bit of painting for her. We decided to go get our paint shorts on. We came out of our rooms unknowingly matching.

Room remodel!

I got a lot more than I bargained for on this job! We did a total room remodel! Popcorn ceilings to new floors. My assistants are trying out carpet mustaches today.

The boys are super excited to get a new room! Anderson asked to help. So we made a kid friendly job and put him to work. Yesterday is going daily rate was $2.00. Today, since he is working more, it's up to $3.25.

Here is most of our family reunion from a few weeks ago. Our family got purple. None of us were complaining (except or my uncle Dan, the ku fan, who gets hives when he wears purple.). Everyone else wasn't too happy. The a&m fans had Nebraska red, not maroon, and well, no one likes missouri.

Super ez!

Before we left for mt Columbia this morning at 4:45, ez wouldn't budge from the front door. Im sure he thought we were going to go for a walk around the park or something a bit shorter bit he got more than he bargained for! We put those expensive back legs to use and he climbed his 3rd 14er! Go ez!

He's currently sacked out in the back of the car but on his hike he ate:
2ish (frequent river stops, so probably 3!) nalgene bottles of water. One over stuffed ziplock of doggie treats, 3 packets of fruit snacks and 2 rice krispie treats. This left Dallas and I, well, not much.

Where was gretta? She recently got her nails done and someone had to watch fritz all day. Don't feel sorry for her- she would have never made it.

On a side note, we don't recommend Columbia to anyone, unless of course you are trying to get all 54 done. I refuse to go back.
