A foot of snow
+ breakfast guests Saturday
+ oodles of great basketball
+ guests sat night/sun morning
+ snowshoeing for 3 hrs
+ Sunday school (3 year olds)

Love me some march madness

This is the first year I've got to actually celebrate march madness on opening day. I love college basketball and having it on, all day long on multiple channels can't be beat. Andichocolates (Which will be selling online soon!) took a personal day to celebrate.

I'm also enrolled at an art class at foothills art center and working on my weekly assignment. It's a bit déjà vu from last year (when I was working on gretta). This is smaller (9x12) but taking forever. Good thing bb is on thru most the weekend!

my friend brook is running her first marathon.  i encouraged her to do it.  i motivated her and told her she could.  so what did she do?  she signed up.  so i signed up too to support her on her journey.  we are doing the colfax in may.

brook normally runs at 5am every day.  she's much tougher than i am (i wait for the sun to come out and warm stuff up).  she waits until 6:15 to do her long, saturday runs, which i thought i could probably handle.  i hanv't ran 18 since last april and it didn't feel too bad!  better than i was expecting, anyway.

Waskily wittle thing

Apparently birds arent enough. Fritz almost got the squirrel, who was taunting him nonstop. He decided to turn around when the branches got a bit too small for him.

and some of our stuff has to go.  if you know of anyone who would like
a lovely hand finished buffet (and mirror! neiman marcus find) for
anything please let me know or pass this on.

i rescued this buffet and re-did it myself.  it has a red undertone
with copper foil.  there is one scratch on the back.  we don't have a
truck and whoever buys it will have to come move it!  there are 2
drawers on top, one long one on the bottom, a larger section in the
middle flanked with a space on each side.  asking $400 (OBO) for both.

Home is great. I love calving season.

What I don't love is when my moms idea of fun is cleaning out the closets. I feel as if overtaken quite a few things back. Yet, she keeps insisting ere is more. Further, there is a bit of micromanaging involved. Example:
Adi: I don't need that. Can throw that away
Mom: no! You can't thrown that away. But you have to take it with you.

Thanks for an additional 2 tubs of stuff, closet.
Next time we are signing a contract as to where I can leave absolutely free of taking additional items with me.

No. But fritz killed him. We havnt had to resort to taping his head on (thankfully its still attached!)

Bella is a little busy body. I'd guess (based n no experience) she is the mix of a new born and a 3 year old. Nothing gets done around here near as quickly as it should. Fritz is surviving. Bella is interested but I think after the puppy wears off they'll be super great friends!

Ez wanted some alone time

Many times when we are out people tell us how large our dog is. It's ez. He doesn't really feel that large. He might be a little large for lap time, but I'm a pushover and can't say no.

Wore out

Today was our last rock climbing outdoor field trip. I wore 50 SPF and still got sun. An all day out there on the rock left me (and my t-Rex arms) wasted. Fortunately I have a little snuggle bug. And yes... She loves her sweater!

I couldn't say no. And neither could Dallas

Yesterday Bella joined the family. We adopted her from the evergreen animal protective league. She's some sort o American bulldog mix (like gretta) and came from the Bahamas where she was rescued from a kill shelter. She was found with a broken leg and jaw (from abuse) but now you can't even tell. The dog is awesome!
