I took this when driving back from our latest ks trip. This pic is unedited and nice to look at for a few seconds.... When it rains it pours over here! Who knew valentines day was RIGHT around the corner? Because this girl really didn't. Or tomorrow is the last day of January!?

I would be open to anyone who would like to show me how to use Wordpress and godaddy hosting. This is killing me.

On a happy note, my 2nd rock climbing class is tomorrow. Unfortunately I haven't got much of the reading done for it. (I know....that's what I thought....there's reading for this!? as I was one of the only ones showing up to class without the book last time).

I'm a sunflower from the sunflower state! Sing it kansans! (What? You're telling me we were the only grade school I kansas to sing Kansas songs and dress up like plainsman and Indians and churn butter? I doubt it.)

Sunday school

Dallas and I volunteer at the 3 year old room on Sundays. It's the kind of thing where you ask questions and they get the answer right 90% of the time by saying Jesus or God.

This week we learned about the lame man by the temple who was able to walk. This sunday Dallas outperformed in the following areas: correctly coloring skin tones and hair color and giving little Dallas the correct number of lower extremity joints. He failed however as he was the only one to keep their little dude in whitie tidies and give him no clothes.

Found this little paper while cleaning out my parents garage this past weekend. This one, from Denver dates to 1895! Another one we found was from 1892.

Ez has been going nuts with the cold weather and house arrest. I finally gave in yesterday and bundled him up in his little doggie jacket. Little guy has grown a bit since last wearing it (I think 2 years ago). A little excess squeezing out between the jacket and collar. Whoops ez!

Te sequoia cactus doesn't start growing arms until its between 50-100 years old. After the first arm grows, it can grow one arm, or many at any rate. This makes it very hard to determine how old they are

This is what the inside of a cactus looks like? There are several stalks that form a ring. This is easy for the cactus to expand when there is moisture

Ahhhh....

Something about going to the dentist I love. Maybe it's because I have the cleanest teeth ever afterwards and don't want to ruin them by eating anything. Or maybe it's because i get free sample sized toothpastes for traveling. Probably both.

Every morning As I'm getting out of bed, Ezra hops in to make his small cocoon (of which he turns into nothing) and sleeps in until 9:30 or so. It's quite pathetic.
