in the last 2 days i have seen 3 strange things.
in order of worst to best:
1. old man (who should have not) been doing yardwork topless. it was gross. i won't show a picture resembling this....but it did make me smile that he had the guts to do this
2. guy down at park with metal detector in sand at children's playground. i think the kids playing on the slide were his. how much treasure is there at the playground?
3. while on my long run, i'm looking ahead and there are these taiwan-ese or some oriental kind of people trying to ride this bike. so the dude is pedaling it and the lady is sitting on the back where a basket would normally go...... but they start going up this hill and it's too much for the guy so the lady has to get off and run next to him for a bit and then jump back on. (this is the 2nd and most likely last bike i'll ever pass) because i catch up to them and realize that their son is in FRONT!! so there's 3 people riding this bike, one pedaling. it was awesome.
as i pass i smile and say: hey! room for one more?
lady: smiles, laughs (looks at me like, whoa! large white girl wanting ride) and says they're out of room. bummer
so it was like this, except no kiddo seats, oriental, and the ages were 6, 38 and 36 (or something like that. just go with it!)
