there is one thing i don't get about professional football. if they're playing in the nfl (emphasize national), and not the ifl (international), how can they truly be world champions?

i don't know about the super bowl ----but i proclaim myself world champion of several things....but clearly i really AM...so yea, can't help you.
probably we're the only country that plays football and not soccer
