it's supposed to snow for the next 24 hrs, so i feel very good about working on my report since no one else gets to ride either and i'm not missing out. :) today is catch up from the week around here....

this is for my mom--- everyone wants love and william is no exception. several time a day, actually, he comes and jumps on my lap while studying
it takes a lot of work to get dallas out of the house in the mornings. i really "love" the days that i turn around after the door shuts and find a secretly placed lovely little present from his office on the counter......uhm dishwasher is on the other side of the sink!
ez has a little friend visiting for 4 days. campi is a good boy though and fun to have around!
one day i said i had to go pick up some stuff at the grocery store, chocolate chips being one of my items to buy. dallas quickly pipes in that he likes the ones in the brown bag more and i should buy them more often. hmm....wonder why? maybe because it tasts like a candy bar? (dallas is becoming quite the chocolo-holic)

dallas has lost his phone and so for the 2nd time in 3 years he has emailed in "sick" to work. he could have very well been sick but i wans't around to witness it. if you're looking for some nerd reading material check out his blog..... if yo'ure into cars and understand that type of thing.

dallas tried getting little blue started up. a new battery and new starter later and we're still trying to figure out the problem. maybe "we" isn't a good word.

Saturday we had Bobbi's surprise 30th birthday party! i must say it was a pretty good time!
this weekend i got a lot done but not my 4 page single spaced size 12 times new roman chemistry report that is due tomorrow (with citation)...... 11:49 and 2 pages down! William is learning a lot about robotic technology in the OR

if 3's not a crowd than 4 is for sure

somehow dallas sweet talked me into agreeing to buy the jeep he's wanted for the last 10 years. (M38) i have to admit, after it's back to military green and roll cage is off ez and i will look pretty cute driving it :)

so yesterday's blog was a hoax....... the only thing we're really expecting is a bunch of non spring weather for the weekend

ez has been extra good lately so he got to go to the toy store. anyone know where the gym is? ez has started lifting his barballs.

there's a reason i've been super tired lately.......
yesterday dallas and i went to the doctor and found we are expecting in november! although we wern't planning for it it's pretty exciting!

we escaped town this weekend!

we thought we'd never get out of denver with our 15" of snow but friday morning found us on snow packed 70 headed to the airport
but we got into kc and it was great to see teri for lunch!
like a magnet the storm followed us cross country. by the time we had got to go to the engagement bash and on the way back to stay in kc we found ourselves driving in winter storm conditions hour 6
at the great wolf lodge we found it necessary to take a jr. high picture by the ginormous dorky bear
then we went swimming for a few hrs in the indoor water park. fortunately for everyone my bag wouldn't fit inside the super tiny lockers thus i couldn't take my camera in for live footage. my in a pinch target suit did pretty well. hours later we are eating dinner and playing mexican train dominoes. dallas and i had the all time biggest loser score that we've seen in years.thanks mom and dad for making this trip possible!

we must be getting old because we came home and napped for 2 hrs

with so much snow today dallas and i had no choice but to......

go swimsuit shopping!

we are hopefully leaving on a jet plane tomorrow to kc for my brother and his fiance's engagement bash! afterwords my family is going to kc's great wolf lodge for some great indoor swim park action. tonight when i pulled out my swimsuit, which i havn't worn since college, my elastic split (as my mom told me it might have and i procrastinated until now....)

today at work was extremely sad, but such an eye opener.

we had a patient come in with extreme MS to the point of having extremely blurred speech and was in a motorized wheelchair. she needed help finding a primary care physician in the facility and so i helped her. as we were going up the elevator together she said, "always take the stairs while you can."

yesterday i took a big step and decided to commute to work. wednesdays are a good day for this since i don't need to be at the office at any particular time. note that this is the longest distance i've gone in about 3 years and i decide to do it on this route with back pack. yes, i'm a real thinker...

i almost made it the entire way but just a few small miles from home dallas had to come find me eating sour gummy worms and laffy taffy at a loaf'n'jug. next time i'm packing more food, that is if there is a next time. one of my teammates does this more than once a week. i'm thinking once a week is enough for me!

for a little while now this pesty little motorcycle-er has been blazing up and down our street for fun at nights. the other night the cops finally got him at the end of our block!

how exciting are we in the evenings?
so exciting that dallas will stand in the corner of the living room for 40 min watching the dude get ticketed, for lack of better things to do

what do you do when yo'ure married to the m&m monster but they're on sale and want 4 bags to last more than 4 days?
yes, it's true.
i individually bagged reasonable portion sizes into snack sized baggies.

you wonder, isn't this what you do for little kids?
the answer: yes, and in special circumstances for big kids, too

i did have a blond moment the other day:

the circut city down the street from us is going out of business so we went down to snag some good 70% off deals.
i found an awesome deal: label maker for $3.00!
how could i resist? so we picked it up and brought it home....

i HATE packaging like this! why do they show a label maker on the front when there's not one inside? so now we're stuck with 400 3/4" x 2" labels.

shopping last weekend i found a couple of, "THE LAMPS," that i havn't been able to keep my mind off of. today they somehow magically appeared in my living room.
hmmmm funny how that happens.

there was once a time in my life when i had time to sit down for more than 2 min at a time i made a zebra mosaic. i just found out that i somehow made into an art show even though there were 1,486 entries (yeah!). this is about all the excitement i can handle this week. in case you missed out the first time.....
